Introducing the STARVING ARTISTS art contest:

This is not just another art contest, we are designing an
original art competition where artists submit their work and at
the same time artists decide who will become the winner. We
will not have a jury of people deciding on the best artwork, instead
we will have all the artists vote on whose artwork deserves the
award and because of this we think the contest will be more
objective and ultimately the winner will be chosen by all the
artists. So, this is an art contest juried by the artists. The
contest will take place on the internet and all you would have to
do is submit 3 pieces of your artwork in jpg format. Later you
would have a chance to view all the artworks and vote for your
favorite one. The winner will get the award of $1000, the
second and third prizes will be $500 and $250 respectively. The submission fee would be $20
for up to 3 works.
At this point we are in the preliminary stages, so please just
respond to this e-mail saying if this contest may interest you.
If so, we will send you more info once our website is fully
operational and the competition is open for submissions.
