I am trying to identify the artist who created the oil painting shown. This painting was created on a ceramiic plate which is impressed with a maker's mark on its reverse that I am unable to identify. The image measures 9" across and the work was purchased at a recent estate auction in New Hampshire. There appears to be a signature at the lower right, just below the mound of grass, though it is so wispy in nature that it is impossible to decipher (as if the artist's intention was to blend the signature into the image, presenting it in very narrow vertical letters, and using the same yellow of the grass).
