I have been an avid collector of Latin American Art for many years now. I have been focusing on Cuban art, specially emerging artist I recently learned about a group of artists all emerging from Cuba, their names are: Enrique Sendra, Ramiro Zardoya and Alexander Izquierdo. I was fortunate to learn enough about their work; before the artwork to goes into auction and the prices become higher. I purchased a very interesting series called "The Man on Stilts" by young Emerging Cuban artist Enrique Sendra. Quite profound yet simple, everyone loves it at home. A friend of mine who is a professional in the art world and an expert in latin american art said I got a really good price of his work, since his very talented and did not have to worry about legitimacy because it was acquired directly through the artist. It is such a placer to be able to own such special pieces by a wonderful unkown artist. Please feel free to share with me any experiences with emerging Cuban artists. Almost forgot, if anyone wants to see what im talking about visit his site: enriquesendra.art.officelive.com/default.aspx
