Just Started Painting

A few friends and I recently started an arts community outside of Los Angeles. We really love to paint and just felt that it would be nice to start creating work in a more traditional sense. I really love abstract painting and I feel that there should be more of it happening. Our group isn't interested in talking down or criticizing the rest of the art world; we just want to create art that doesn't need to be clever or cynical in order to be enjoyed. I hope you like our work.

Looking at the three pieces, I think there really good! Some years ago, I was into abstract. Gave it up for the more common art form. In any case, all art has its place!

Nice paintings, I agree, keep painting! I like the first and third especially. The colours in the first are amazing, wow.

I paint for fun and came to this site to try to find other artists. I'm all on my own and am having trouble keeping going with the painting although I have been pleased with the results so far. I'm disabled so I had to give up the art class I was going to. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak! Got any tips?

Good idea to try selling on ebay, sorry it didn't work out.
