I'm brand new to this forum, I'm actually looking for some information for my aunt. I'm wondering if anyone know anything about the artist H. P. Kimball. She made a set of four charcoal drawings, one of which my aunt has happened upon. The drawings are of African-Americans. There is a reference to it on a website: www.lib.unc.edu/mss/inv/d/DeRosset_Family
It is mentioned on the bottom just above the "index to the inventory". It's item P-214/3-6. That's all I really have to come up with. I will take a pic with my digital camera tomorrow and if anyone has clue as to anything about this drawing, I will post it on my site. Just contact me. shadowtemp@hotmail.com
