DalArt: There was a strong movement in Deep Ellum for quite a few years....but it seems to have deminished.
Evident in the Deep Ellum Arts Festival of this April past.
The number of artsits participating have diminished from over 150 to less than 10.
Caring about the humanity is one thing, surviving as an artist is another. I'll gladly donate any work of art to any charity/organization that needs to show a bottom line. But where are the patrons of past?
Your heart is in a good place. May your efforts in your work reflect this in future works.
