Hi there,
Not being very IT minded, I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. I 'employed' the services of a web-designer ( www.zest-leisure.com ) some 18 months ago. A website framework was designed for me. I paid an amount for the domain name, I paid a seperate amount for the design & build and I pay monthly support & maintenance fees. Last week i received an e-mail from www.zest-leisure.com saying they will cease to host from 1st feb 2006. There was no reason given whatsoever. (my fee's are paid up till mid feb and my renewal for domain name is not until another 9 months !? My website has now just disappeared off the air quite prematurely! My webmaster will not respond to e-mails and it seems the only alternative i have is to build a new one from scratch, which will be time consuming and expensive. Is this allowed or am i at the mercy of a rather controlling webmaster?
