For the record her husband Jeff Paris brought this on himself when he used her website Literaryescape.com as his bidding tool., it is time the writing community new the truth. Todays woman.net has a solid one year reputation on the internet. Alberto O. Cappas, Publisher of The New Tomorrow Newspaper has already recognized todays-woman.net as a wonderful resource for writers and published us in their November 2004 newspaper addition.
Several of our members are published writers, columnist and have been in the writing business for some time and some own their own publishing companies. Todays-woman. net provides accurate information.
Devrie Paradowsk (Paris) and her husband Jeff Paris own Poetryscams.com and literaryescape.com.
Jeff Paris markets several types of "businesses" Jeff Paris owns poetryscams.com ,literaryescape.com and a few others and he has even tried his hand at programming from open source scripts he has Ripped off from the net from sites sorceforge.net.
On several programming sites there are warnings that warn webmasters not to pay him for his scripts as they are open source and the website in itself poetryscams.com is actually a scam and a ploy to get poets to pay $ 39 to join his writing community literacy escape. Over the past Weeks of December 2004 Jeff Paris has supposedly changed his business ethnics, however one thing he has not change is his harassment towards me.
Jeff Paris is not a writer and has no knowledge in the writing industry. I am guessing his wife Devrie Paradowsk does.
I have known Jeff Paris for quite some time and was very impressed with his business PoetryScams.com and Literacy Escape until a couple months ago when everything changed my outlook about him and how dishonest he operates his businesses.
He lists business on his site as scams, or that they are run by immortal webmasters or fraudulent business if you don't provide a link to him or if you upset him.
I find it quite strange that he would list himself as a private investigator. He likes to run in the circle of the big guys and blames his harassment behind Borderline Personality Disorder and Adult Autism. One must take responsibility for their actions.
He sends abusing emails etc, I have an entire inbox of emails and can provide full header that comes from his IP address. Emails he has sent from several of his emails addresses to both my husband Shawn DesRochers and I.
He black listed my website Todays-Woman Inc on his poetry scams for no reason. He was upset as I had declined to link to him , as I saw him as an immortal ,dishonest webmaster. Our website is not a scam.
We are a free online community with a solid one year reputation. Our site is ran solely on donations and we make no profit from a free community that we run.
We do provide advertising to our writing community. However this is simply a service we offer that goes towards covering our cost of running this site and so you the writers gets something extra out of your donation.
He says that he provides information for scams he has investigated, yet has no solid evidence backing this that todays-woman.net is a scam or any solid reason to blacklist us.
This information I'm posting here is not to get back at Jeff Paris, it is about his dishonesty as a website / business owner and his ongoing harassment of other website owners.
The administrator of literacy escape contacted me last month regarding our link to him on todays-woman that he could not find it and it was not accessible by Google bots. I sent him a Google cache of our website showing him Google did pick up his link.
I have on average 15 / 20 Google bots on todays-woman each day and they can access our weblink area.
He then apologized to me the link was there, after jumping to conclusion and sending me a previous nasty email. You will still see the Google cache where we were linked to LiteraryEscape.com
Shortly after this he listed on his website PoetryScams.com as bad to do business with. I have gone to Jeff Paris and asked for the situation to be resolved. We did resolve the situation and no more than a week later he listed us on poetryscams again.
I have copies of all email communications between he and I. I have logged ip addresses where he has used my feedback form to harass me. I have banned his IP and he has reset it to come through a different IP. He has removed us from his black-list only to put us right back on again.
He then sends abusing emails etc , I have an entire inbox full.
I also have logged ips where he used my feedback form to send childish emails and can provide them into any legal representation with full header or anyone who wishes to see them.
Only recently after I filed a report at ripoff.com and him getting word of this has he updated his site to include his wife's information. Jeff Paris states inaccurate information on his website when he states that I have no experience in poetry or compassion for online users. He states false information when he says that I have edit emails he sent , stalked or harassed him. He provides unacturate information when he states that I abuse my members or the testimonials are not from actual members. Everything on that website is a lie and slanderous statement about me , except for my photo He and his wife edited of me that he admits to doing on rip off report.com and implies it is not a crime to take a photo off someone's web page and edit it.
I think todays-woman reputation and our testimonials will speak for itself and my accomplishments of having my own book published since the opening of todays-woman. Unlike he states I am not self published.
Despite several emails requesting that Jeff Paris end all contact with us he still contacts me.
I have all evidence of harassment, dishonesty , libel , slanderous and his trying to sell open source scripts he has Ripped off from the net from sites sorceforge.net this and will provide it to any willing parties that require a screen capture , logs or emails, full header included.
He states several emails were received from me that states, I have sent mail after cease was asked to be stopped on his part. I was the one who requested he cease emailing me. My host provider can validate when I sent my last email to him and I can vouch that my husband Shawn and I both received an email from Mr.Jeff Paris as of December 16th and I'm sure we will receive mail in the future. He reports on his site that he will be making all information available for a court case and that all materials from the future court case will be made public as per the 'Right to Information Act'. If he wants to waste his money to take me to court over this, he will be wasting his money as I have all evidence including his abusive letters to support my statements. I would not file a report unless I have other wise.
He also states that George Bush would not let him leave America for a court case as his wife is stationed in Iceland.
To post slanderous information on a website / harass / stalk your victim and list there business as fraudulent with no solid evidence to back it is a scam in itself not to mention changing the appearance of your website to resemble the site you are black listing , all things Mr. Paris has done.
Yes Poetryscams.com now resembles todays-woman.net in both design and color a design he did not design but purchased.
I think this all started over one upset webmaster, who was mad that we removed his link from our site for breaking the toss and went on to blow a small situation out of the water and by doing so the truth came out about him as more evidence came up about how dishonest he is.
Jeff Paris has now banned anyone in the Belleville, Toronto, Hamilton , Brockville , Kingston area , as he has blocked the Ip address of both Kos and Sympatico customers.
In his block you get a page where two photos are edited of me. One applies I'm having an affair on my husband. He states his wife did edit these photos. I have not given him permission to use my photos, therefore I will be filing a civil lawsuit against Jeff Paris, for harassment, stalking. His mission is to get even and/or take revenge. He has a grudge and he's going to do something about it.
However the way he has gone about it is a crime and I'm not sure what any of this has to do with writing? Now I ask anyone reading this is this not harassment?
Please do not let this cloud your vision of joining todays-woman.net , we are a wonderful community and many publish writers , columnists and publishers can vouch for our reputation.
